Well, we know that at least 3rd century Roman coins and 6th century Byzantine lamps made it to Thailand--but it looks like we now how have a Roman coming into being: fws.cc/scabkk/index.php?topic=75.msg404#msg404"Flavius Artorius Gladius" has been wanting a curved Roman shield, and so Lord Leonard Phenix, our local armorer, Lord Waris, and Grimr Korni all got together to try to make it happen for him. He's also working on a wicked gladius technique that relies on hiding the little sword behind his shield and then striking out just about anywhere. It is surprisingly effective. -Ii

Well its good to see another Roman land on the shores of the barony, I thought I might be the only one that made it out here. I have been making different versions of the different types of roman shields as the scootum isnt very good for one on one combat. Contact me if you need any advice on roman armor, tactics, or any other questions you may have.
Ill try this in Thai
